What TubePress is

TubePress is a free content-management system for running video tube sites — including adult tube sites — on your own server. One ZIP, a five-minute installer, and you get videos and photo galleries, mass import and automated feeds, FFmpeg transcoding up to 4K, an ad manager with VAST support, built-in SEO, themes, plugins, member accounts and moderation, in 30+ interface languages. The feature tour covers everything, and the live demo is a real, browsable install.

Why we built it

We run tube sites ourselves. The scripts we could buy either encrypt their core with ionCube, charge $99–$499 per domain, or offer a “free” tier that caps your database and skims a share of your traffic. And when a vendor disappears — as adult-industry vendors sometimes do — an encrypted site can’t be audited, fixed or moved. TubePress is the CMS we wanted to run: readable PHP source, no license keys, no per-site fees, no lock-in. It is free to use on as many of your own sites as you like.

Free, and funded honestly

The core CMS is free forever — it is not a trial, and there is no feature meter running. Development is funded by optional pay-as-you-go services that you can ignore entirely:

• Content catalogue — license-cleared videos (540k+) and photo galleries (500k+) you can import into your site in a click.
• AI credits — title/description rewriting and translation, billed per video, no subscription.
• Premium add-ons — the CTR Ranking engine, Backup Pro and premium themes in the marketplace. The free CMS does not need them to run.

No traffic skimming, no forced branding, no record caps. Your database, media and configuration live on your server and stay yours.

How we ship

TubePress 1.0 shipped in June 2026 after months of private development, and the pace has not dropped since — 54 releases so far. Every package is Ed25519-signed, verified before it is applied, and installed in place from your admin with an automatic backup taken first. The changelog lists every release and what changed — and every version is mirrored on GitHub, if you prefer to watch releases land there.

About the name

TubePress — this product, at tubepress.io — is an independent, self-hosted CMS for video tube sites, first released in 2026. It is not related to, and not affiliated with, the WordPress video-gallery plugin that used the same name in the past. If you want to embed YouTube playlists in a blog, that is the other project; if you want to run your own tube site on your own server, you are in the right place.

Who runs the project

TubePress is built by a small team and operated by the company identified in our legal notice. We prefer to let the product speak for itself: browse the documentation, read the release history, follow the project on GitHub, or download the CMS and open the source — all of it is readable.
