Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use tubepress.io and the related Services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Bulgarian data-protection law.

Data controller

The data controller is the operator of TubePress — the company identified in our legal notice, where you will find our full registration details and registered address.

What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
  • Usage and transaction data: your credit balance, purchases and the actions you take in your dashboard.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device information and server logs, used for security and to operate the site.
  • Cookies: a small number of essential cookies (see our cookie policy).
  • Payment data: payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.

Why we use it, and our legal bases

  • To provide your account and the Services you request — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To secure the site, prevent abuse and keep records — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To meet accounting and legal obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • For any optional analytics or non-essential cookies — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate agreements — for example hosting and content-delivery providers, our payment processor, an anti-abuse/CAPTCHA provider and an email-delivery provider. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) or your local supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact us through your dashboard or via the legal notice.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including password hashing, optional two-factor authentication, encryption in transit and access controls — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Age

The Services are intended for adults aged 18 or over and are not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date below reflects the latest version.
