Giga

Giga is a high-contrast tube theme built to make a large library feel effortless — velvet-noir by default, with a light mode and an automatic mode that follows each visitor's device. The homepage opens on an animated wall of your most popular videos behind a bold headline, a large search field, a featured "Popular now" pick and one-tap category chips — then full-width grids, trending rails, category tiles and an About & FAQ section take over.

Search answers while visitors type: a visual panel suggests videos with thumbnails, categories, performers and channels, keeps recent searches on the visitor's own device and works entirely from the keyboard.

The watch page is built around Giga's own player: theater mode, mini player, keyboard shortcuts, quality and speed menus, seek-bar thumbnails, resume where you left off and an Up next column with autoplay. It uses the whole width of the window like the rest of the site, while the player and its title always stay in view. Running VAST, pause or overlay ads? The theme switches to the CMS player automatically, skinned to match — or you pick the player yourself.

Visitors and members get a complete account menu at the top right, like on the largest platforms: subscriptions, favorites, liked videos, history, saved videos and uploads in one place; the appearance (light, dark or automatic); the language, with flags and a search; history and hover-preview preferences; and a shortcut to the admin panel for administrators. On phones it opens as a sheet that the Back button closes. Profiles and account settings follow suit: a cover header, clickable stats, tabs, device preferences and password visibility toggles.

Lists are made for very large catalogues: sort tabs, length, quality and date filters, a "Longest" sort, Show more without reloading, hover previews, and Watch later, Favorites and History kept on the device. Category pages add an About text and questions answered with each category's real figures (with FAQPage structured data), and an HTML sitemap links every section and category. Every query is indexed and bounded, counts run on a time budget, homepage blocks are cached, and the theme creates the database indexes it needs online. Tested on a library of 1.2 million videos: home, lists, categories, search and watch pages are typically generated in under 200 ms.

Everything the CMS offers is styled to match: galleries and the photo viewer, performers, channels and subscriptions, the tag directory, comments, reports, member uploads, profile, sign-in, the contact form, legal pages, ad zones, the Age Gate and the 404 page. Renamed "Performers" to "Models" in Languages? The theme's own texts use your names too.

With CTR Ranking installed, Giga follows its rankings everywhere — Trending sorts and directories, the categories of the menus, Up next, Picked for you, Continue watching and search suggestions with the tags people click most — every link it should measure is measured, and the buttons on cards never count as clicks.

Your CMS pages become a complete help and editorial section: Blog & guides with topics, featured articles, reading times and instant search; a help center with searchable answers and popular questions; a parental-controls guide with a tab per device; legal pages with contents, short versions, plain-language notes, a legal menu and print; a contact page whose form routes every request; and an HTML sitemap — all written in the CMS page editor, in every language.

An Appearance studio made for everyone: one menu groups every page by topic, a search answers “what do you want to change?”, an overview shows what is set now and where to change it, and every page explains in plain words what it changes — with “Restore the defaults” on each one. Choose dark, light or automatic and whether visitors may switch, one of six palettes (each with a light version) or your own colours, a text logo with a gradient accent, the welcome texts and the About & FAQ text (with FAQPage structured data) in every language, the rows of the homepage, what the account menu offers, the page width and the cards per row, the cards, the player and the footer — no code needed. 30 languages ship with the theme, including right-to-left Arabic, Hebrew and Persian.

The theme starts with the look of the demo. One click on “Demo look” also applies the demo's CMS settings — fuller pages, window titles, a Straight / Gay / Trans section switch and optional simplifications — and another click puts your previous settings back.
